Even retired, these Celtics legends still know how to get it done when it comes to a community in need.

On Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 4 p.m., international hunger relief organization Feed The Children will partner with Boston Celtics legends Cedric Maxwell and JoJo White to distribute a semi tractor-trailer full of food and personal care items to Lee Academy Pilot School.

“We are excited to be able to partner with Cedric Maxwell and JoJo White at such a critical time in America,” said Feed The Children Spokesman Tony Sellars. “There are many families in Massachusetts going through tough times due to the economic downturn. Today, 400 families will walk away from this event with a brighter outlook on life.”

Lee Academy Pilot School is a partner agency of Feed The Children and has pre-identified the 400 recipient families. The boxes are designed to help a family for up to one week.
