Miroslav Satan suffered a laceration in his hand from what coach Claude Julien called a "blowout" as a result of a hit he took Thursday night in Tampa Bay.

He received stitches, and returned to Boston where he was examined by doctors. Julien said there is no tendon damage, but Satan will not be in the lineup Saturday and is listed as day-to-day.

Milan Lucic and Shawn Thornton missed practice due to food poisoning.
