No one in the Celtics' locker room was particularly itching to address the media after their Game 5 loss on Wednesday night, a 113-92 bloodbath at Amway Arena in Orlando, especially not Glen Davis, who suffered a concussion minutes earlier and was in no mood to formulate a complete sentence.

Reports out of Orlando indicated that the Boston forward snapped, "Point blank, I ain't speaking. I'm all right. I'll be back next game," before plowing his way through the field of reporters, shouting an expletive and explaining, "That's all you need to print."

Turns out Big Baby was right.

He is indeed back for the next game. According to Comcast SportsNet New England, Davis has been cleared by the team's medical staff to play in Game 6 on Friday night in Boston.

Davis expressed his desire to play all along, but the team maintained that he would need to undergo a series of tests after the team landed back in Boston late Thursday afternoon.

"I don’t know what kind of test they’re going to do with Baby," coach Doc Rivers joked after Wednesday's game. "He’s a little delirious half the time anyway, so I don’t know how he’s going to pass a test. I’m worried about that."

But Davis is indeed back, and the Celtics will surely need him. With a healthy Davis and a reinstated Kendrick Perkins after one of his seven technicals was rescinded Thursday, the C's now have two bodies (and 12 fouls) they can use against Magic big man Dwight Howard. Given Howard's 53 points and 26 rebounds in the last two games of this series, both Magic wins, the Celtics could use all the help they can get.

The one missing piece of the puzzle now is Rasheed Wallace, who experienced back spasms late Wednesday night and all day Thursday. The Celtics' veteran big man was unable to sit during the team's Thursday film session due to the pain.

Wallace remains a game-time decision, but for now, the Celtics are relieved to have two of their best low-post players back on the floor for Friday's crucial Game 6 in Boston. As Davis would say, that's all you need to print.
