Roush Fenway Racing Nationwide driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr., driver of the No. 6 CitiFinancial Ford, will be featured as the Nationwide Insurance driver of the week this weekend when the series hits the high banks of Dover International Speedway. This honor is a part of Nationwide Insurance’s "Code Spotter Sweepstakes," which is geared toward NASCAR fans for their passion for the Nationwide Series.
"It is an honor to be the Nationwide Insurance driver of the week,” said Stenhouse, who is competing for the series rookie of the year honors. “Nationwide does so much for our series so I hope to put on a good show this weekend. The good thing is my CitiFinancial guys always give me a fast car, and I love high-banked tracks, so I’m looking for a solid finish at Dover.”
Stenhouse’s No. 6 CitiFinancial Ford Fusion will carry an in-car camera that has been donated by Nationwide. The rookie driver will also be featured on Nationwide’s social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Additionally, Stenhouse will visit the Nationwide display area on Saturday, May 15, 2010 as well as take part in a photo opportunity during driver introductions at Dover International Speedway. This weekend marks the Mississippi native’s first start at the famed “Monster Mile."
The grand prize winner of the Code Spotter Sweepstakes will receive a custom Roush Ford Mustang and a VIP experience at the Roush Fenway Racing Nationwide shop. Thousands of NASCAR prizes will also be awarded between April 24, 2010 and November 25, 2010. Prizes include items signed by Stenhouse and his Roush Fenway teammates.
