Look out Miami, Boston's Big Three are staying together.

The Celtics have officially re-signed free-agent guard Ray Allen, the team announced Tuesday.

"Re-signing Ray has been a priority of ours this offseason and this move will allow us to stay at a championship level," Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge said in a statement.

The former UConn star set an NBA Finals record with the Celtics, hitting eight 3-pointers during Game 2 of the 2010 Finals. Allen is a nine-time All Star, twice in his three seasons with the C's.

"I am ecstatic to be back in Boston," said Allen. "I cannot wait to get onto the court and get back to work with the rest of the team in pursuit of Banner 18."

Allen is ranked second all-time in 3-pointers made and attempted, and is ranked 28th for total points scored, with 20,965.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it was reported last week that Allen agreed to a two-year contract worth $20 million.
