Despite earlier reports that he may be rejoining Boston's Big Three, former Celtic Eddie House has been signed as support around the Miami Heat trio instead.

According to Yahoo Sports, House signed a two-year, $2.8 million deal that brings him back to Miami where he started his career in 2000.

It was reported that Celtics GM Danny Ainge was interested in bringing House back to Boston, where the guard spent nearly three seasons before he was involved in a trade to the New York Knicks for point guard Nate Robinson and forward Marcus Landry in February. House was a fan favorite during the 2007-2008 championship season, as he delivered high energy and clutch perimeter shooting for the C's.

The Chicago Bulls were also interested in signing House, but lost out to Miami in the final stretch.
