The Celtics made it to Game 7 of the NBA Finals, but GM Danny Ainge isn't resting on his laurels this offseason.

With free agency beginning at midnight on Thursday morning, Ainge was reported to be shopping the contract of Rasheed Wallace. Later in the day, Jeff Goodman of Fox Sports reported that the C's GM was the first executive to contact David Lee after he clock struck midnight.

Lee, 27, played in 81 games in each of the last three seasons. He's averaged 13 points and 9.6 rebounds per game in his five years with the Knicks.
