Dustin Pedroia Hitless in Final Rehab Game

The Red Sox star insists that he'll be back on Tuesday against Anaheim, but Dustin Pedroia's final rehab start for Triple-A Pawtucket could have been more promising.

Pedroia was 0-for-3 as a DH on Sunday, hitting into a double play in the first inning before posting deep flyouts in his two subsequent at bats. On Saturday, Pedroia went 1-for-3 with a run and a walk while playing at his normal second baseman spot.

Still, it is hard to put all that much stock in his rehab performances. Pedroia says he'll be ready to go after a day off Monday, and the Sox will undoubtedly be excited to have him back in the lineup.
