All MLB draft picks must be signed by midnight Monday night. With four of their top selections yet to be inked, the Red Sox need to move quickly.

Anthony Ranaudo, selected in the first supplemental round at 39th overall, was heralded as a top-10 pick prior to injury woes during his junior year in college. And with Scott Boras as his advisor, he will undoubtedly be more expensive than his draft slot would indicate. This is particularly the case in light of his dominant performance in Cape League this summer.

Second-round pick Brandon Workman, who also slipped past his expected position on most draft boards, has been offered the MLB recommended salary but he has not taken the offer. The University of Texas righty, because of his perceived high value, apparently wants more.

Third-rounder Sean Coyle and fourth-rounder Garin Cecchini, both high-school prospects, remain unsigned and are choosing between going pro and heading to UNC and LSU, respectively. Coyle looks to be leaning towards coming to Boston, while Cecchini may be more of a long-shot to sign aboard, reports WEEI.
