Lost Tape of Snooki From 'Jersey Shore' Adds to Spectacle That Is the Mets Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for the Mets and their fans, Snooki strikes.

The reality star from MTV’s hit Jersey Shore is apparently a huge Mets fan. Don’t believe it? Well Deadspin.com has unearthed this video gem from a couple of years back before Shore stardom hit for Snooks. In it, Nicole “Snooki” Pilizzi is seen singing an impromptu fight song in support of the Amazin’s.

Snooki sings the praises of such Met immortals like Carlos Delgado  and Carlos Beltran, and of course, no Mets techno song would be complete without Billy Wagner.

Not only is the performance epic, but the lyrics are second to none. Just take the line about Wagner for example: “Billy Wagner closes, throwing heat at you, (you, you).” Classic.

Perhaps the video’s biggest injustice? The title of the YouTube video boldly exclaims “HOTTEST METS FAN EVER =].”

Right.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

“We’re about to shock the world. We talk junk, we look pretty and we hit hard. That’s the motive for today and tomorrow. Get this victory. … It’s actually not that big either. This should not be the Big House, this should be the Little House on the Prairie.”
UMass defensive back Ke’Mon Bailey on playing at Michigan on Saturday. The Minutemen aren’t buying into the Wolverines hype and aren’t impressed with the Big House.
