Should Players Be Able to Use Social Media to Discuss What Goes on Inside the Lines?

Some people are calling Kevin Garnett a jerk. Others are calling Charlie Villanueva a cry-baby. Anyone who has ever played sports is probably calling the entire situation a complete joke.

Earlier this week, Villanueva tweeted an exchange he and Garnett had on the court, in the heat of the moment, during Boston's 109-86 beatdown of Detroit on Tuesday night.

That's right, he went public with smack-talk. And not only that, it was false information as multiple witnesses have refuted Villanueva's claims, in which he says Garnett compared him to a cancer patient.

Regardless of what was said, what are your thoughts on players going public with exchanges that go on inside the lines?
