Since taking over at Anfield in January, Kenny Dalglish has received praise from former players, current players and lifelong supporters. It's safe to say that the feeling is mutual.

"The great thing about our supporters and why they contribute towards the great European nights is they are very well-educated," Dalglish said, according to LiverpoolFC.tv.

Dalglish described how the fans don't get caught in perceived momentum swings during matches.

"The fans have to be patient because we have to be patient," he said. "Our fans understand the rules in Europe and the way the game works. That will be a big help for us against Sparta."
