Boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard lost just three times in 40 professional bouts during his impressive career.
On Tuesday night, however, he was nearly knocked out in ABC’s Dancing With the Stars‘ first elimination show.
Leonard, whose birth name is Ray Charles Leonard (guess who his mother’s favorite singer was?), was on the chopping block along with someone named Mike Catherwood, who was sent packing.

Quote of the day
“Someone said, obviously I can’t swear while I’m talking to you guys, but there was some stuff said that I’m not too happy about. If I ever find out who it was I’ll deal with it in my own way. There’s guys on their team that chirp a lot and stuff, but I don’t know if it’s right when somebody’s face is halfway across the other side of their face. But it’s a tough game and people have to live with their actions.”

“Looks to me like [Mark] Recchi still hasn’t lost it. Why retire? Age for him is just a number.”
