The Bruins got off to an ideal start in their Eastern Conference semifinals series with the Philadelphia Flyers, winning 7-3 on the road.

The line of David Krejci, Nathan Horton and Milan Lucic was especially solid throughout.

"It was nice to see that line do so well tonight," head coach Claude Julien said. "They obviously had some challenges in the last series, although two of the overtime goals were scored by that line. Tonight I thought they were a real solid line. They did their job and they did it well."

Despite three Philly goals, Tim Thomas and the defense played well in Game 1 as well.
