Earlier, it was reported that Shaquille O'Neal did not want to be honored with a statue on the LSU campus, but apparently, the big fella has changed his mind.

According to SportsbyBrooks, which first reported the statue news earlier this week, O'Neal "relented and agreed to the plan" when asked again by school officials.

"I was told [Wednesday] that, though no formal plans are yet in place, O'Neal will be part of an unveiling of his statue outside the LSU practice facility when his schedule allows," Brooks reported.

His schedule may not be too full, as the future Hall of Famer is doubtful to return this series for the Celtics, and his career may be over.
