Bruins Outscore Canucks 23-8 in Stanley Cup Final En Route to Team’s First Title in 39 Years

Looking at the numbers for the Stanley Cup Final, it’s difficult to figure out how the series went the full seven games.

The Bruins nearly tripled the goal total of the Canucks in this year’s Cup Final. The B’s tallied 23 goals for a per-game average of 3.29 goals, exceeding their regular season average of 2.98 goals per game.

Despite leading the NHL in the regular season with 3.15 goals per game, the Canucks scored a measly eight goals against the Bruins in the Cup Final for an average of 1.14 goals per game.
