Former Celtics guard Nate Robinson landed himself behind bars early Friday morning after being cited for public urination in White Plains, N.Y., The Associated Press reports.

Robinson, 27, was arrested around 2 a.m. Friday after an officer caught him urinating outside a bookstore. His court date has been set for June 22.

The 5-foot-9 guard averaged 7.1 points off the bench for the C's in 2010-11 before being traded to Oklahoma City along with Kendrick Perkins.

On Friday, Robinson tweeted, "I made a silly mistake last night…I apologize for my actions, it definitely won't happen again!"
