The rumors continue.

With each passing day, a trade involving the New York Mets’ Carlos Beltran seems more and more imminent, as the right fielder did not rule out any of the teams on the list the Mets provided him.

The Red Sox and Phillies remain interested in Beltran, Yahoo Sports and New York Daily News reports. The Atlanta Braves, San Francisco Giants, Milwaukee Brewers and possibly the New York Yankees round out the group of teams that are reportedly pursuing the switch hitter.

Beltran, 34, has 15 home runs and 61 RBIs in the final season of his seven-year contract, which includes a no-trade clause. The six-time All-Star has indicated that he wants be traded to a playoff contender.

The Red Sox were also among several teams to scout Twins starter Kevin Slowey‘s rehab start for Triple-A Rochester Wednesday night, according to a tweet by the Star Tribune’s La Velle E. Neal III and a blog by Kevin Oklobzija of the Democrat and Chronicle. The right-hander has a 4.43 ERA in 92 career major league starts.
