Bruins Can Now Move On With Season After Flyers Keep Opening Night From Being Complete Success (Photos) The Bruins knocked the Stanley Cup banner ceremony out of the park on Thursday night at TD Garden. The B's welcomed back heroes from the past and the current team was able to take its place alongside the franchise greats. Yet, when the puck was dropped for the game, the B's came away with a loss.

While it's unlikely very few will remember the actual game result when looking back on the evening, the fact of the matter is the B's are now 0-1. The good news, though, is that they can now move on with their Stanley Cup defense. Gone now are all of the parties and functions, the autograph requests and photo opportunities.

The Bruins are back to business, something that will be no more evident than on Saturday night when they take the ice again against the Lightning. This time, there will be no ceremony.
