Vote for Your Favorite Bruins Game of 2011-12 Season That Has Aired on NESNThe Bruins didn’t burst out of the gate to open the 2011-12 season, but since their fateful 3-7 start, their play has picked up considerably. The defending Stanley Cup champions surged out of last place and have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with this season.

In order to relive some of this season’s best moments, we have picked the top 10 Bruins games of the 2011-12 season that have aired on NESN. We want you to vote for your favorite. The top four vote-getters will be reaired on NESN during a Bruins marathon on Saturday, Dec. 24, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Here’s a look at the nominees.

Oct. 15: 3-2 shootout win over Blackhawks at United Center
Despite some early-season struggles, the Bruins began to put everything together in this matchup of the last two Stanley Cup champions. Tyler Seguin scored the only goal, and Tim Thomas stopped all three Blackhawks shots in a shootout to send the Bruins home victorious.

Nov. 1: 5-3 win over Senators at TD Garden
After entering the month of November with a 3-7 record and dropping three in a row, the B’s took care of business against the Senators and never looked back. The win was the first of 10 wins in a row for the Bruins, and they didn’t lose in regulation for the rest of the month.

Nov. 5: 7-0 win over Maple Leafs in Toronto
Tyler Seguin scored his first career NHL hat trick, complete with a couple of highlight-reel efforts, and the Bruins blanked the Leafs 7-0. The B’s scored four times in the second period, twice within 15 seconds of each other, and Phil Kessel‘s Leafs had no answer.

Nov. 10: 6-3 win over Oilers at TD Garden
Taylor Hall and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins rolled into Boston looking to make a statement about which team has the best young players in the league. The teams alternated pairs of goals, and the Bruins eventually put the game away late with yet another two rapid-fire tallies.

Nov. 12: 6-2 win over Sabres at TD Garden
The Ryan Miller game. Milan Lucic collided with the Buffalo goaltender near the faceoff dot, and the collision did not go over too well with the Sabres. Yet they failed to respond on the ice, and the Bruins capitalized on the emotion of the moment, rolling in the second and third periods to a big win.

Nov. 21: 1-0 win over Canadiens at Bell Centre
The B’s struck first, and Tim Thomas made sure the lone goal stood up in Montreal. Thomas made 33 saves in his second straight shutout, and the Bruins won their ninth game in a row while moving into first place in the Northeast division.

Nov. 23: 4-3 shootout win over Sabres at HSBC Arena
The Sabres were out for revenge in this one, but they wouldn’t find it. Lucic answered the bell and dropped the gloves with Paul Gaustad on his first shift, and Zdeno Chara later dropped Robyn Regehr after a run at Brad Marchand. The Bruins won both the fights and two points in one of the most memorable games of the year.

Nov. 26: 4-2 win over Jets at TD Garden
A day after their 10-game win streak ended, the B’s looked like they were in trouble after two first-period goals by the Jets. But the Bruins roared back to take the lead and added an empty-netter late to keep their point streak alive.

Dec. 3: 4-1 win over Maple Leafs at TD Garden
The Bruins’ winning ways continued into December, as they continued to have no trouble taking care of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Phil Kessel was scoreless once again, and the Bruins pulled away in the second and third periods en route to their fourth win against the Leafs.

Dec. 5: 3-1 win over Penguins at CONSOL Energy Center
In a showdown of the NHL’s top two teams, the Bruins made a convincing statement while taking care of business against the top-ranked Pens. Sidney Crosby and Co. had no answer for Tim Thomas, who carried a shutout into the third period as the B’s ran their point streak to 15 games.
