Boston University has rattled off four straight wins, and has compiled a 7-1-1 record in its last nine games. As a result, the Terriers are still sitting near the top of college hockey's rankings.

BU (15-6-1) is ranked second in the nation behind Minnesota-Duluth (17-4-3) for the second straight week. The Terriers received five first-place votes and 952 points, but Minnesota-Duluth remains the overwhelming national leader with 45 first-place votes and 995 points. No other school received a first-place vote.

Merrimack (13-5-5), meanwhile, jumped up a spot to No. 5, just behind Minnesota (17-9-1) and Notre Dame (14-9-3), which sit at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.

The Boston College Eagles (14-10-1) have sputtered a bit of late, and as a result, they sit in seventh. That's four spots behind their No. 3 ranking in last week's poll.

UMass-Lowell (14-6-0) saw a nice little jump this week, going from 14th overall to 11th, while Maine (12-8-3) rounds out the nation's top 20 after previously being unranked.

Over on the women's circuit, Boston College (18-6-2) ranks fourth and Northeastern (17-5-2) ranks sixth.
