Dustin Pedroia is one of the most competitive players in the bigs right now which means he’s likely even more excited at this time of the year than those around him.
When you add in how last season ended for the Red Sox, you have to think that Pedroia is chomping at the bit to get 2012 off to a start.
He’ll join Tom Caron and Peter Gammons on Thursday night on Red Sox Live From Fort Myers Presented by Jordan’s Furniture where he’ll talk with TC and Peter about the upcoming year. The fiery second baseman comes into the season healthy after fighting off the lingering effects of a foot injury and a knee injury last summer.
Darnell McDonald will also be live from the Fort on Thursday night. He’ll talk about the potential for more playing time as there is some uncertainty about who will be Bobby Valentine‘s everyday right fielder.
Both Pedroia and McDonald will also try their hand at the Jordan’s Shootout as well.
