Burak Yilmaz, Luuk de Jong Among Top Soccer Stars Prepared to Stand Out in Europa League TournamentThe Europa League, the NIT tournament of European Soccer, kicked off on Thursday and many under-the-radar strikers hope to come to the attention of elite teams by continuing their solid team performances as they compete against their European foes.

Burak Yilmaz – The young Turkish forward from Trabzonspor is close to breaking the league record with 29 goals so far this season. The fans are anxious to see if he can continue his top form against some of the best defenses in Europe as Trabzonspor continues to push for more upsets in the tournament.

Antonio Di Natale — He continues his stupendous form, on pace to become only the second player in Serie A history to win the scoring title in three consecutive years. Unfortunately, a broken toe is temporarily keeping him out of Europa League play for this round but he is sure to come back strong once he heals.

Luuk de Jong – The young Dutch forward is making a name for himself beyond his famous brother in the local league with Twente. De Jong has been sought after by some elite clubs and hopes to continue his top form in the continental tournament.

Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez – Hernandez continued his return to top form with a goal against Ajax in the 2-0 Manchester victory. With Manchester focused only on the Premier and Europa Leagues, Chicharito is likely to see more minutes and more goals.

Klass-Jan Huntelaar – Huntelaar is still on the hunt for the Bundesliga scoring title behind Mario Gomez, and with Schalke 04 he has returned to the top form he showed in PSV that was missing in his stings with Real Madrid and Milan.

Sergio Aguero – Aguero continues to stand out as one of the best singings of the past summer with Manchester City looking for titles in the Premier and Europa Leagues as well. With Aguero, City hopes to finally overshadow its local rivals.

Dries Mertens – The Belgian is finally reaching top form late in his career with PSV in the Netherlands. In the Europa League he hopes to show his success is not a fluke and that he can deliver against the best offenses on the continent.

Radamel Falcao – The top scorer from last year's Europa League doesn't seem to be letting up with his new team. With two goals for Atletico Madrid in its 3-1 victory against Lazio, Falcao must be having fond memories of his run with Porto last season.

Matias Suarez – The Argentinean entered the Round of 32 as the top scorer with seven goals. He has been linked to a move to a bigger club due to his stellar performance, with Arsenal being the frontrunner.

Dmitri Sychev – Sychev has six goals in the competition with Lokomotiv Moscow. One of the top Russian talents, he hopes to extend his streak with Lokomotiv and garner attention from some of the teams from Europe’s top leagues.
