Which Red Sox Away Series Would You Most Like to Attend in 2012?The Boston Red Sox will look to regroup in 2012, as they face many tough road series along the way. There are seven big series that will be a great test for the Sox throughout the season. But which would a true diehard Sox fan be willing to attend?

The first is April 5-8 when they head to Comerica Park to face Prince Fielder and the Detroit Tigers to open the season on the road. More than likely, Justin Verlander will get the nod on Opening Day and it will be a duel between him and either Josh Beckett or Jon Lester in the first game of the season.

From May 18-20, the Sox head down to Philadelphia to take on the Phillies. The Phillies still have a potent offense and their pitching staff still has the great 1-2 punch of Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee. This series could be the World Series matchup in 2012, but that's only if both clubs can remain healthy.

The Sox will then have a big road trip in the middle of June where they will take on the Miami Marlins (June 11-13) and Chicago Cubs (June 15-17).

The first series against the Marlins will be in a new ballpark and it would be a dream to see the Sox go down there for the first time. The Marlins also acquired many new key players, such as speedy shortstop Jose Reyes, shutdown reliever Heath Bell, and veteran starter Mark Buehrle.

The Sox will also visit Wrigley Field for the second time in their history — the first visit was back in 2005. The clash of the historic franchises will likely prompt a huge number of Red Sox Nation members to join the team down in Chicago.

Another exhilarating series will be when they head to Texas to face the Rangers from July 23 to July 25. The Sox tend not to do well in Arlington and have a 5-11 record since 2009 at Rangers Ballpark. They won three of their seven road meetings in 2011, with all of them coming in a four-game set in August after being swept in the teams' first series in April.

The Sox will also get a look at "The Machine", a.k.a. Albert Pujols, in his new place when the Sox head to Anaheim for a late season battle with the Angels. It would be a great series to see Pujols and Adrian Gonzalez face off, no?

The final games for the Sox will be at Yankee Stadium from Oct.1-3. These three games could decide if the Sox make the playoffs or even win the AL East. Hopefully, there is still reason to cheer and go to this historic rivalry in October.

So, if you had to choose one away series to go to, which would it be?
