Next week, we target a trip to Toronto from June 1-3, and stops in Miami and Chicago from June 11-17.

The Red Sox will be accomplishing a few 2012 firsts in their May trips to Kansas City, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia and Baltimore.

The stop in Kansas City from May 7-9 marks the first time the Red Sox play the Royals this season.

The Red Sox will then have a brief homestand against the Indians and Mariners before hitting the road again, heading to Tropicana Field for their first two road games against the Rays this season.

When interleague plays begins May 18, the Red Sox will travel to historic Philadelphia to take on the Phillies, the perennial National League East division champ.

The Red Sox close out their time in Baltimore, where they'll play a three-game series starting May 21. It will be the first time the team sets foot in Camden Yards since the 2011 season ended there dreadfully last Sept. 28.

Each of the four cities has plenty to offer, ranging from restaurants to amusement parks to icons in American history.

The cities may be separated by large distances, but each are worth the trip if you're in need of some good fun, food and relaxation.
