Diamond Jubilee Honors 60 Years of Queen's Reign, James Bond Moments (Video)Great Britain, just one year removed from the wedding of the century, is back to the festivities.

This time, the Brits are celebrating Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee, marking her 60 years on the throne.

Boats and well-wishers packed the River Thames on Sunday in honor of the queen, and one band even gave a tip of the hat to James Bond, playing the theme from Goldfinger, as the group moved past the headquarters of the British Secret Intelligence Service.

Bond has long been part of British culture, but this year is a special one for him, too. He was, according to some reports, born in 1953, meaning that as the queen celebrates her Diamond Jubilee, Bond's is just around the corner.

Bond — or rather, Daniel Craig, the actor that currently plays Bond — was recruited earlier this year to shoot a short film with the queen in honor of the upcoming Summer Olympics. It's not the first time Bond has made his mark in the sports world.

As Britain celebrates its great history, including the feats of the incorrigible 007, you have to wonder what the super spy has up his sleeve next.
