Heat Gain Control of NBA Finals (For Now) After Stealing Homecourt Advantage in OKC

If a seven-game series doesn’t start until the road team wins a game, then the NBA Finals actually began Thursday night.

The Miami Heat jumped out to a big lead early and were able to wrestle homecourt advantage away from the Oklahoma City Thunder. They now return home with control of the series, but as the Heat have showed in the past couple of seasons, things can change in a heartbeat.

Even so, the Heat have to like where they’re at after two games in the Finals.
