Nine Skydivers Survive After Two Planes Collide in Fiery Mid-Air Crash (Video)

A group of skydivers narrowly escaped with their lives last week after two small Cessna planes carrying them collided 12,000 feet above Superior, Wis.

The veteran jumpers — one claimed to have more than 900 skydives under his belt — were forced to abandon the planes in mid-air and avoid the flaming wreckage as both they and the remnants of the planes plummeted to earth. But miraculously, all nine skydivers and both pilots reached the ground safely, with one suffering minor cuts but all others walking away unscathed.

Some were strapped with cameras for the emergency jump, as well, resulting in some incredibly harrowing first-person footage. Check it out in the video below, courtesy of NBC News.
