Indiana Pacers forward Paul George suffered a concussion and blacked out momentarily after being accidentally kneed in the head by Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade in Wednesday night’s Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals.

After going through a series of tests, George has been cleared to play in Saturday night’s Game 3 in Miami.

George said Friday that he had been symptom free for two days, which is great news for a Pacers team that relies heavily on his scoring.

The 24-year-old star is averaging 21.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists in the playoffs. He scored 24 points in Indiana’s Game 1 victory over Miami, but added just 14 points on 4-of-16 shooting in his team’s Game 2 defeat. George also draws the assignment of defending LeBron James or Wade on the defensive end of the floor.
