BOSTON — David Pastrnak returned to Bruins practice Sunday, but head coach Claude Julien said he hasn’t yet been cleared for contact.

Boston’s first-round pick in the 2014 NHL draft tweaked his shoulder in the second practice of training camp and hasn’t played in any of the four preseason games. He skated earlier in the week, but Sunday was his first practice since suffering the injury.

Julien hopes to see Pastrnak in a game situation at some point — the B’s have three preseason games remaining.

Pastrnak skated at right wing alongside center prospect Ryan Spooner and veteran Ville Leino during Sunday’s practice at TD Garden.

— These were the lines, defensemen and goaltenders at practice:

White Jerseys: Milan Lucic — David Krejci — Loui Eriksson
Gold: Brad Marchand — Patrice Bergeron — Simon Gagne
Grey: Chris Kelly — Carl Soderberg — Matt Fraser
Green: Daniel Paille — Craig Cunningham — Jordan Caron
Merlot: Ville Leino — Ryan Spooner — David Pastrnak
Red: Justin Florek — Alexander Khokhlachev– Bobby Robins

Defensemen: Zdeno Chara, Johnny Boychuk, Dennis Seidenberg, Dougie Hamilton, Matt Bartkowski, Adam McQuaid, Kevan Miller, David Warsofsky, Chris Breen

Goaltenders: Tuukka Rask, Niklas Svedberg, Malcolm Subban, Jeremy Smith

— Julien said fourth-line center Gregory Campbell is “questionable” for the regular-season opener on Oct. 8. He also added that there’s a possibility Campbell could skate this week. The veteran forward hasn’t participated in camp because of a mid-core issue.

— Forward Seth Griffith was among the 11 players released from Bruins training camp Sunday, but Julien likes his progress so far.

“A guy who took some steps in the right direction. … He moves the puck well, he has good hockey sense, finds the net, finds the back of the net. Those kinds of things are really good,” Julien said of Griffith. “His pace has definitely gotten better over the course of one year. Definitely heading in the right direction here. A little bit more time to work on his game, and he’s going to be knocking at the door.”

— Defenseman Torey Krug and forward Reilly Smith still are unsigned as restricted free agents. Julien has been forced to configure his lineups without them as a result.

“I have to. Until I’m told they’re coming or they’re here, I gotta prepare without them,” Julien said. “That’s what we’re doing right now.”

— Forward prospect Matt Fraser has scored two goals in the preseason and is making a strong case to make the Bruins’ final roster.

“It’s pretty obvious that he is making a statement. If he plays the way he has been on a consistent basis, I don’t think anybody’s going to keep him out of this league,” Julien said. “It’s up to him to maintain that standard, and if he does, he’s got a real good chance of sticking.

“The jam that he has in his game — he’s finishing his checks, he’s getting to the dirty areas, he’s playing a heavy game, a gritty game. And he has the size to do it. It nice to see, and he’s got a good set of hands to top that off.”
