Even though Northern Ohio is home to LeBron James, the King has always been a staunch supporter of the Dallas Cowboys.

Brian Hoyer wants to change that.

According to ESPN, the Cleveland quarterback wants to convert James into a Browns fan after the new Cleveland Cavalier publicly showed support for the Cowboys on Instagram when they beat the Seattle Seahawks.

Hoyer didn’t blame James for not being a Browns fan since the original team left Cleveland for Baltimore when LeBron was in elementary school.

Since the Browns’ return to the NFL in 1999, they haven’t done much. LeBron was a senior in high school the last time the Browns made the playoffs, and the team hasn’t won more than five games since 2007.

“You have to cheer for someone,” Hoyer said, according to ESPN.com. “Hopefully we can bring him around to it.”

The way Hoyer’s Browns have been playing lately, it wouldn’t be surprising if James ditched the Cowboys for his hometown team soon.
