Jameis WinstonThe Boston College Eagles have the week off, but the ACC’s top team will hit the gridiron on Saturday afternoon as the No. 1 Florida State Seminoles play host to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons as huge favorites on the Week 6 college football betting lines.

Sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com have the Seminoles pegged as 38-point favorites at home against the Demon Deacons for their 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday, with Florida State perfect at 4-0 straight up through their first four games of the season but winless at 0-4 against the spread over that span. The Seminoles have failed to cover spreads of 18, 56.5, 9.5, and 16.5 points against Oklahoma State, The Citadel, Clemson, and North Carolina State.

Wake Forest is just 2-3 SU on the season, but they’re also 3-2 ATS after losing 20-10 to Louisville last weekend but covering the big 21-point spread at the sportsbooks. That made it three ATS victories in a row for the Demon Deacons, who are just 1-4 ATS in their last five games against the Seminoles according to the OddsShark College Football Database.

Florida State blasted Wake Forest 59-3 last season as a 34-point road favorite in the fourth OVER result in the last five games between the two schools. The OVER has gone 6-2-1 in the Seminoles’ last nine home games against fellow ACC teams.

Elsewhere around the top of the college football rankings this weekend, No. 3 Alabama is on the road against No. 11 Ole Miss, while No. 4 Oklahoma takes on No. 25 TCU, and No. 5 Auburn plays host to No. 15 LSU. The Crimson Tide are favored by 7 points against the Rebels, with the Sooners favored by 5 points over the Horned Frogs, and Auburn favored by 7.5 points over LSU in a battle of Tigers at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

And No. 9 Notre Dame is pegged as a 2-point underdog at home against No. 14 Stanford, with last year’s Cardinal vs. Fighting Irish matchup going to Stanford by a score of 27-20 as a 16-point home favorite. Notre Dame is just 1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS in its last five games against Stanford dating back to 2009, with the UNDER paying off in each of their last four meetings. The UNDER has also gone 11-2 in Stanford’s last 13 games on the road.
