Manny PacquiaoManny Pacquiao had an easy night Sunday night — as easy a night anyone can have while trying to avoid being punched in the face.

Pacquiao wasn’t punched much, though, as he destroyed Chris Algieri on Sunday to retain the WBO welterweight title. Pacquiao dominated the fight, knocking Algieri down six times on his way to a 12-round, unanimous decision win in a Macau.

But after the fight, the conversation turned to Floyd Mayweather. Once again, Pacquiao made it clear he wants to fight the superstar boxer in a fight that’s been years in the making.

“I really want that fight,” Pacquiao said, according to The Associated Press. “The fans deserve that fight.”

Pacquiao’s decisive win should spark even more talk about that long-awaited matchup.
