Mario Balotelli and Steven GerrardFinal, 3-1 Crystal Palace: It’s all over at Selhurst Park, as Liverpool falls to Crystal Palace.

Selhurst Park has turned into a house of horrors for Liverpool, as Crystal Palace compounds the Reds’ misery. Ledley and Jedinak’s second-half goals provided the difference in the scoreline, and Liverpool now has lost three-straight Premier League games and four-straight in all competitions.

Liverpool started brightly but faded as the game progressed. Much of the action was of the end-to-end variety, and Crystal Palace ultimately reaped the rewards for its constant attacking pressure.

That’s all for now and thanks for joining us. Let’s discuss this one on Twitter @NESNsoccer and Facebook. Be sure to keep an eye out for some news, fan reactions, analysis and opinion that is on the way on NESN.com.

7:30 a.m. ET: Liverpool returns to Selhurst Park on Sunday — the site where the ashes of last season’s Premier League challenge are spread.

Liverpool visits Crystal Palace in a Premier League encounter, following a two-week break for international games. The teams are playing for the first time May 5, when they played to a 3-3 draw at Selhurst Park, which effectively ended Liverpool’s title dreams.

The circumstances have changed since that fateful day. It’s a new season, and the teams aren’t flying as high as they were six months ago.

Crystal Palace finds itself in relegation territory. It sits 19th in the Premier League standings, having won just two of its first 11 Premier League. Manager Neil Warnock’s Eagles haven’t won in nearly two months, and they look to start a run of positive results.

Liverpool is keen to use Sunday’s game against Crystal Palace as a springboard for improvement. The Reds currently sit 11th in the standings with 14 points from their first 11 games. They can end a two-game losing streak with a result at Selhurst Park.

Liverpool-Crystal Palace kicks off at 8:30 a.m. Join us right here for all the action from Selhurst park.
