We’ve heard of swinging a hot bat, but Jonathan Lucroy takes it to another level.
The Milwaukee Brewers catcher was out taking batting-practice swings this week when his bat, possibly due to the friction of the ball against the wood caused by all his stinging line drives, burst into flames. A photographer was thankfully able to capture the moment before firefighters extinguished the blaze.
