Knicks’ Lou Amundson Airballs Layup, Sums Up New York’s Season (Video)

Listen, nobody expects a lot from Lou Amundson. He’s a nine-year NBA veteran with career averages of 3.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. He’s not exactly an All-Star.

But he’s still a professional basketball player, and there are certain expectations that go along with that.

Like, say, hitting the rim on a layup attempt.

Ugh.

To be fair, Amundson’s airball layup pretty much sums up the New York Knicks’ season. At 14-54, two losses worse than the Philadelphia 76ers — who are openly trying not to field a legitimate NBA team — the Knicks are officially terrible. Now this entire awful season has been pared down to just one Vine.

For that, we all owe Amundson our thanks.
