Pedro Martinez soon will take his place alongside Major League Baseball’s all-time greats. It’s a fascinating reality for the former Boston Red Sox pitcher.
Martinez, who was voted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in January, will be inducted this summer. He couldn’t wait to check out Cooperstown, though, so he recently paid The Hall a visit, which proved to be a truly mesmerizing experience for the former hurler.
Martinez was in awe over the history of baseball and how the game has evolved over time. He also took a minute to reflect on his incredible accomplishment and to preview what will be a joyous ceremony.
