Getafe learned the hard way why Barcelona’s forward line of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar is the most feared attacking unit in the soccer world.
Suarez scored a sensational, volleyed goal Tuesday in Barcelona’s 6-0 win over Getafe in La Liga (Spain’s first division). Messi set up Suarez’s 25-minute goal with a perfect pass over the top of Getafe’s line of defense.

Suarez initially struggled at Barcelona following his summer transfer from Liverpool. But the Uruguayan now is in excellent form, having scored nine goals in his last 10 games.
Suarez’s numbers are impressive on their own. Add Neymar and Messi’s totals to Suarez’s, and you’ll understand why Getafe had little chance of stopping the La Liga leader at the Camp Nou Stadium.
Neymar, Suarez and Messi now have scored 102 league goals this season, setting a new club record for a trio.
