Paul Pierce is a like a fine wine. He only gets better with age.

In fact, the 37-year-old Pierce is the reason the Wizards currently have a 2-1 series lead over the Atlanta Hawks in the second round of the NBA playoffs.

Pierce scored 13 points in Washington’s dramatic 103-101 victory Saturday night, but none were more important than these two.

And then, in classic Pierce fashion, he owned the postgame interview. ESPN’s Chris Broussard asked Pierce if he “called bank,” referring to the shot banking off the backboard and into the hoop.
