The Mighty DucksThanks to the Stanley Cup playoff matchup between the Anaheim Ducks and the Chicago Blackhawks, the 1992 movie “The Might Ducks” is back on everyone’s radar.

The film is about a peewee hockey team, but that didn’t stop folks from noticing the Western Conference final mirrors the movie’s peewee state championships between, you guessed it, the Ducks and the Hawks.

A tweet from actor Emilio Estevez — aka fictional Ducks coach Gordon Bombay — on Monday supporting the real Ducks also transported sports fans back to the 1990s, which got us thinking about other great pre-millennium sports flicks.

From “Rudy” to “Any Given Sunday,” the ’90s gave us plenty of our favorite sports movies. Quack, quack.
