Vince Wilfork, Jadeveon Clowney Are ‘Hard Knocks’ Players To Watch (Photos)

News broke Tuesday that the Houston Texans will be the subject of this season’s installment of HBO “Hard Knocks.”

It might be the closest thing we ever get to seeing a Patriots version of the show, given the incredible number of former Patriots in the organization, but that’s not the only thing piquing our interest.

Viewers will get an inside look at what some of their favorite players really are like on and off the field — something that can swing their favor in either direction.

Ultimately, “Hard Knocks” is just another reality TV show, which means one thing: Someone is going to be a breakout star. Who will play that role for the Texans?

The easy answer, of course, is superstar defensive end J.J. Watt, whose personality and incredible athleticism helped him burst into super-stardom last season. But because Watt is already a star, we’re not including him in this list.

Still, the Texans have plenty of candidates to fill the shoes of “next breakout star” so let’s take a closer look at some of the viable options.
