Watch Team USA Vs. Switzerland At IIHF World Championship Online (Live Stream)

Team USA ripped through the preliminary round at the IIHF world championship, and now it looks to carry that over to the knockout round.

The US will play for its tournament life for the first time Thursday when it takes on Switzerland in quarterfinal action at the CEZ Arena in Czech Republic.

Thursday’s matchup marks the first between the two teams in the tournament, as the two clubs were in opposite groups for the preliminary round. Team USA won Group B, winning six of its seven games. The Swiss barely got through to the elimination round after finishing fourth in Group A with a 2-1-4 record.
