If you’ve ever had any sort of groin injury in your life, we suggest you look away.
Things were going just fine for Harrison Barnes and the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 of their Western Conference playoff series against the Memphis Grizzlies. That is, until the Grizzlies’ Courtney Lee put the moves on Barnes and almost tore the poor guy’s body in half.
Miraculously, Barnes was able to recover from his gymnastic fall and stay in the game, contributing 14 points in Golden State’s 98-78 win. After the game, the former UNC star explained how he’s still alive.
“Stretching every day definitely prepared me for doing the splits during the game,” Barnes said, via the San Francisco Chronicle. “That was very, very awkward.”
Don’t forget to stretch, kids.
