Boston Red Sox To Host Father’s Day ‘Walk In The Park’ This Sunday

The Boston Red Sox once again will open Fenway Park for a Father’s Day “Walk in the Park” on Sunday, June 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Additionally, dads can enjoy free tours of Fenway Park all day, every hour on the hour, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The free event gives fans the opportunity to walk around the warning track, sit inside visitor and home dugouts, take photos with Red Sox alumni and participate in other family-friendly activities.

Anyone attending can enter the ballpark through Gate C. Red Sox alumnus Sam Horn will take photos and meet fans in the Red Sox dugout, and the 2004, 2007 and 2013 World Series trophies will be placed behind home plate for photos.

Wally the Green Monster and his dad, Walter, also will be in attendance, and kid-friendly activities including a balloon artist, caricature artist and face painter will all be on hand.

Ballpark concessions will be available with special Father’s Day-friendly pricing. The event will take place rain or shine.

Fans are invited to document the special day by posting photos to social media accompanied by the hashtag #MLBmemorybank.
