Vince Wilfork definitely is a world-class football player, but according to his attire Tuesday at the Houston Texans’ post-minicamp press conference, he might be elite in other areas of life, too — or is he?
The defensive tackle approached the podium sporting a T-shirt that read “World’s greatest farter … I mean father.” Someone call the Guinness Book of World Records. We have a new entry!

While the shirt undoubtedly is hilarious, the information should come as no surprise to football fans. It makes perfect sense that a 325-pound NFL defensive lineman not only would excel on the football field but also in the field of flagellation. We’re just glad we don’t sit next to him in the locker room.
Wilfork, of course, spent his first 11 NFL seasons with the New England Patriots and attended the team’s Super Bowl ring ceremony Sunday night. We wish him the best in Houston, and in his attempt to maintain the title as world’s greatest farter and father, too.
