FOXBORO, Mass. — Over a quarter of the New England Patriots’ training camp roster sat out of Saturday’s practice with injuries.

Center Bryan Stork and rookie defensive tackle Malcom Brown were the latest players to join the ranks of the injured, as neither finished Friday’s practice.

Running back Travaris Cadet left Saturday’s practice early. He walked off the field slowly with trainers after getting banged up in individual drills and looked upset as he left the field.

Overall, 23 of 90 Patriots players didn’t practice Saturday. Quarterback Matt Flynn, offensive lineman Caylin Hauptmann and defensive lineman Alan Branch remain on the non-football injury list. Wide receivers Brandon LaFell and Matthew Slater, linebackers Dane Fletcher and Chris White, offensive lineman Ryan Wendell and defensive lineman Chris Jones remain on the physically unable to perform list.

Wide receivers Julian Edelman, Aaron Dobson and Brian Tyms, running backs LeGarrette Blount, Dion Lewis and Tyler Gaffney, linebackers Matthew Wells, Darius Fleming and Eric Martin, offensive lineman Marcus Cannon, defensive lineman Joe Vellano and tight end Scott Chandler have suffered injuries since camp began.

Blount has a sprained LCL, a league source told The Boston Globe’s Shalise Manza Young.

Tight end Jimmay Mundine returned to practice Saturday after leaving Thursday’s practice early and missing Friday’s session.
