Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor are the most popular UFC fighters in the world, crushing both opponents and TV viewing records as individuals.

Soon, they could set the bar even higher — together.

After needing just 34 seconds to knock out Bethe Correia on Saturday night, the still-undefeated Rousey hinted at potentially the best card we’ve ever seen in a post-fight interview with FOX Sports 1.

“I would like to be on the Aldo-McGregor card if possible,” Rousey said. “That would be really cool.”

Talk about a co-main event.

Jose Aldo was supposed to take the octagon to defend his featherweight belt against McGregor last month at UFC 189, but a rib injury forced him out of the fight. McGregor beat replacement Chad Mendes and currently hails as the interim featherweight champion until a fight with Aldo takes place.

Asked about the potential megacard, UFC president Dana White told FOX Sports 1 what everyone was hoping to hear.

“I’d like to put her on that card,” White said. “That card is probably going to be in Dallas, Texas, stadium. December (5), I hope so. We’re working on it.”

White told reporters after UFC 189 that he anticipated McGregor’s fight would shatter previous pay-per-view records. Should McGregor and Rousey — who seemingly share a mutual respect for one another — co-headline a card, there’s no doubt those records would be broken again.
