The Emerald Archer got a taste of glory, and now he wants more.
Fresh off his SummerSlam appearance and first career WWE victory, Stephen Amell posted a video to Facebook on Monday night thanking everyone involved in making the night happen, as well as providing an update on his charity campaign related to the match.
But before doing a quick fan Q&A, Amell dropped a hint at wanting to return to the ring.
“I have the itch now — I want to do it again if I can,” Amell said. “And thankfully, I would say that the rivalry between myself and Mr. Dust (Stardust) has been far from consummated. There was something very satisfying about winning (Sunday), but incredibly unsatisfying in terms of finishing what the two of us have started.”
Some wrestling fans were confused as to why it was King Barrett that took the fatal pin from Neville and not Stardust taking it from Arrow. Plus, despite an impressive athletic display, Amell kind of got his butt kicked, so it seems like the door has been left ajar for more.
