There’s a reason NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has and keeps a job despite his apparent incompetence. It has to do, of course, with the almighty dollar.

Goodell has mismanaged plenty of issues, which have led to fans and media calling for his job, but he’s not going anywhere as long as the NFL continues to prosper when it comes to the bottom line. If a recent Forbes ranking of the NFL’s most valuable franchises is any indication, the NFL is still printing money.

Forbes released its annual list of NFL franchise values, with every single one of the league’s 32 teams being valued at more than $1 billion. The Dallas Cowboys top the list as the NFL’s most valuable franchise, valued at a staggering $4 billion. The New England Patriots come in second place at $3.2 billion, an incredible $800 million behind Jerry Jones’ club.

According to Forbes, the Patriots took in $494 million in revenue in 2014 with an operating income of $195 million.

Here are the NFL’s top five most valuable franchises:

1. Dallas Cowboys ($4 billion)
2. New England Patriots ($3.2 billion)
3. Washington Redskins ($2.85 billion)
4. New York Giants ($2.8 billion)
5. San Francisco 49ers ($2.7 billion)

As you can see, it literally pays to play in a relatively new stadium and/or in a big media market.

Even the Buffalo Bills, ranked 32nd of 32 teams, have a current value of $1.4 billion.
