Patriots Injury Report: Dont’a Hightower Limited With Shoulder Ailment

FOXBORO, Mass. — New England Patriots starting linebacker Dont’a Hightower popped up on the injury report Wednesday.

Hightower, perhaps the Patriots’ best defender this season, was limited in practice with a shoulder injury. Hightower had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder over the offseason.

Running back Travaris Cadet (hamstring) and safety Tavon Wilson (quad) have been removed from the injury report. Safety Nate Ebner, who was tested before last Sunday’s game by the training staff, then ruled inactive, isn’t on the injury report. Neither is offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer, who practiced with his hand wrapped after suffering a finger injury against the Buffalo Bills.
